Narex is a brand with a rich history, operating in the field of probiotics as well as other dietary supplements and cosmetics, focusing its efforts on delivering natural products that support health and well-being. History of the Manufacturer
The story begins with Levon Akopovich Erzinkyan, a renowned Armenian scientist who discovered and began studying the unique properties of the Narine bacterium. This special bacterium, first isolated in the 1960s, became the foundation for Narex, a company established to harness its health-promoting potential.
From day one, we’ve focused on developing and refining probiotic production built on the Narine strain. Through continuous research and innovation, we secured the rights to manufacture and distribute Narine-based products, positioning us in a unique niche within the health market.
In addition, Narex has been making freeze-dried Narine products for over 20 years. In 1999, we signed a strategic agreement with the Republican Microbe Deposit Center at the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, which granted the right to use the Narine strain for manufacturing fermented dairy products and dietary supplements. Thanks to this agreement, our Narine-based probiotics are not only high quality but also backed by solid legal and scientific foundations.
The Beginnings of Import
Narex entered the Polish market driven by a strong belief in the exceptional qualities of the Narine bacterium. The founder’s own positive experience with probiotics proved decisive and inspired us to introduce them locally. His conviction that this product should be available to a wider audience, especially where it had not been offered before, and became the driving force behind our efforts.
